3D PRINTING OF POLYMERS

Prototypes

Prototypes 3D printed from polymers with properties similar to the final products. Reduce iterations and shorten product development time.

Customized products

With product customization you can make customized end products, or go to market before investing in series production tools.

Serial production

Serial production with 3D printing is often the most cost-effective option when the product has complex features and volumes are reasonable.

Technologies and materials for plastic printing

For plastic printing, we mainly use leading HP and EOS technologies.

HP Multi Jet Fusion 5620 + 2 x 4210

Print chamber size: 380 x 284 x 380 mm3

PA12 polyamide

SLS - Laser Sintering

PA2200 - PA12 polyamide

PA3200GF - glass reinforced PA12

TPU - flexible Shore A80

Adsint PA11 ESD - electrically conductive material

PA2241/PA2210 - fire rated materials

Wide range of materials

  • MJF/PA12

Grey on the surface and black polyamide on the inside. High-density material with uniform mechanical properties for functional prototypes and mass production. Easy to dye black. Suitable for painting and coating.

Biocompatibility certificate, RoHs/REACH, UL94 fire classification

  • SLS/PA12

White polyamide inside and out. Good mechanical properties for end product applications. Wide range of finishing possibilities; dyeing in different colours, painting, coating. Good chemical resistance.

    Biocompatibility certificate, RoHs/REACH, Food approval

  • SLS/PA12GF

Glass reinforced polyamide for applications requiring improved torsional stiffness and higher strength. Durable material for both functional prototypes and finished products. Wide range of post-processing possibilities.

  • SLS/TPU ShA80

Flexible TPU material for applications where toughness and good elasticity are required. Suitable for both prototypes and finished products.

  • MJF/TPU ShA90

HP's flexible TPU material with a very dense structure. Can be dyed black and is also suitable for chemical polishing.

  • SLS/PP

Polypropylene is one of the most widely used plastics in the world. The material is also well suited for 3D printing. Excellent chemical resistance and toughness.

  • SLS/PA11

Completely plant-based material with castor oil as raw material. Very good toughness and better heat resistance compared to PA12 polyamide.

  • SLS/PA11 ESD

Adsint PA11 ESD is a special bio-based material for applications where electrical conductivity is required.

  • SLS/PA2210FR

Fire-rated PA12 material with JAR25 aerospace and UL94 electronics approvals.
